When I bought Shocker it had a 1350 electric shift transfer case in it that did not work. The previous owner had removed the electric motor and placed vice grips on the shaft to shift the t-case with. I swapped a manual 1350 transfer case in to replace the electric shift one.

This swap is straight forward swap. I had a 87 Bronco II case laying around. It bolted right up to the tranny and the drive shafts. The problem I came across was the manual shifter linkage. When doing this swap make sure you get the shifter and linkage for the same transmission you have. Ford made several different linkages. Since Shocker has a 302 and a T-18 4 speed with adopter in it I had a little hard time with this.

Solution was I add 2 1/2 inches of metal to the end of the linkage to make it fit just right. I cut a notch in the end and welded the end to the linkage.

Here are some measurements I have of the 2 different shifters I had and the modification I made to Shockers.

In this diaghram The 89 shifter was used with the a4ld and the 87 shifter was use with the fm145. Notice how they are designed totally different. The 89's shift will work if you have a fm146 transmission.
